For three days at the end of March, health checkup

For three days at the end of March, health checkups 🩺 for newly enrolled bachelor students were conducted at Ookayama campus.

Many members of the student organization formed a line in front of Kuramae Hall, around TakiPlaza, and behind the library, trying to recruit new bachelor students.

The Spring Entrance Ceremony 🌸 will be held tomorrow, 1 April at Ookayama for
⭐️ ALL faculties,
⭐️ ALL graduate schools, and
⭐️ ALL schools
There will be no ceremony in other campuses

🕚11:00 for bachelor’s degree students
🕑14:00 for master’s, professional master’s and doctoral degree students.
(approximate duration of the ceremony is 40 minutes)

Venue: Sports Center, Ookayama Campus

Door will be open one hour prior to the ceremony and family members will be able to watch the ceremony on screens 🎦 at other venues within the campus.

With mild weather since last Saturday, sakura trees 🌸 on the grassy slope are in full bloom. The buds of sakura trees by the wood deck in front of the Main Building are still tight as of today..

The Spring Graduation Ceremony🎓🌸 will be held on 26 Mar 2025 for students graduating from Science & Engineering field 🔬🧬⚙️ at Ookayama Campus - the first graduation ceremony to be held under the name of “Institute of Science Tokyo”.

Ceremony will be held;
⭐️26 March 2025 (Wed)
🕚Bachelor’s: from 11:00 -
🕑Master’s, Professional Master’s & Doctoral degree students: from 14:00 -
⭐️Venue: Sports Center (Ookayama Campus)

Doors will open 1 hour prior to the commencement of the ceremony. Admission to the venue will be restricted after 10 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony - please try to arrive earlier 👀‼️

The ceremony will be held for approximately 1 hour.

For the family members, you will be able to watch the ceremony over screen on other venues (70th Anniversary Auditorium or Multi-Purpose Digital Hall)

Total number of 21 alumni who took Intensive Japanese Course during FY 2020 to FY 2024 came to see their friends and faculties!

Winter ❄️ is back this week here at Ookayama Campus 🥶🥶

Relatively mild weather continued until last weekend, with temperatures rising to📈 nearly April/May levels.

Lucky for those aspiring students who came to Ookayama Campus on last Tue &Wed for undergraduate entrance exam🧐

During these two days, campus remained in absolute silence 🤫🤐

-COOP stores and convenience store within the campus were all closed,
-faculties and staffs walked quietly🚶‍♀️try not to make any extra sound,
-current students are not in general allowed to enter the campus, and
-we did not have a chance to meet with lovely dogs 🐕 🐶 walking the campus as it is also not allowed.

Campus was all empty during the exam, but during the lunch time 🥪🍱 and after the exam, we saw many students chatting, wondering around wood deck and the grassy slope.
