The first Entrance Ceremony as “Science Tokyo” was held yesterday at 70th Anniversary Auditorium at Ookayama Campus🎓

This fall, 240 international students graduated out of a total of 423 graduates👩‍🎓👨‍🎓.
- Bachelors 92 (10 international students)
- Master’s 210 (150 international students)
- Professional Master’s 6 (1 international student)
- Doctoral 115 (79 international students)

It was a day with a lot of sunshine 🌞💦 – we saw many families and friends gathered in front of the Main Building!

Two important dates will be slightly different this year.. ✍

First, the fall Graduation Ceremony🎓 will be held slightly earlier - TOMORROW, 20 Sep 2024.

This will be the last graduation ceremony conducted under the name of "Tokyo Institute of Technology"

Second, the fall Entrance Ceremony will be held roughly a month later - on 23 Oct 2024.

This will be the first entrance ceremony by science & engineering field of "Institute of Science Tokyo".

Both will be held at 70th Anniversary Auditorium at Ookayama Campus.

The venue is all prepared for the ceremony tomorrow! It will be another hot day 🌞 - stay hydrated!

JUDO 🥋… Paris Olympic 2024🏅 once again proved that JUDO is the world-wide martial art!

Here at Tokyo Tech, members of Judo Club @titech.judo meet periodically every week at B1F Ookayama Sports Center (pls check the schedule from the website). 🔗https://titech-judo.greater.jp/

Tokyo Tech has a history of 143 years and the Club - celebrated its centennial anniversary in 2007 – has a history spanning 117 years👍🏻

Currently, roughly half of the members have experience from their school days (mind you, some are black belts 🥋!) but the other half are beginners.

Club welcomes beginners as well as those who have an interest in the sports. If you are worried about JUDO-GI (Judo uniform), nothing to worry about… They will be able to lend you one!
