Team Tokyo Tech Meeting starts at 15:00 and Evening Receptions starts at 17:15 - both require booking by 15 March

There will be participation fee of JPY 2,000 for Evening Reception, but fee is waived for current students. Please make sure to bring your Student ID Card!

There will be various activities and performances throughout the day, the earliest starting as early as 10:00. Alumni gatherings by various clubs and faculties are also planned mostly in between lunch time.

The last entrance ceremony as “Tokyo Institute o

The last entrance ceremony as “Tokyo Institute of Technology” was held on 3 April 2024 at Ookayama Campus.

This spring, 3,129 students (362 int’l students) were admitted to the Institute.

- 1,163 bachelor’s (46 int’l students)
- 1,629 master’s (214 int’l students)
- 24 professional master’s (2 int’l students)
- 313 doctorate (100 int’l students)

It was another rainy day ☔️ but newly admitted students were busy all day - attending the information session from faculty, meeting the new classmates, and receiving their new student ID cards 🪪 !!!

Graduation Ceremony for academic year 2023 was held on March 26, 2024 at Ookayama Campus.

It was a cold day with downpour & stormy wind, but graduating students gathered various places in the campus busy chatting and taking photos.

This spring, Tokyo Tech conferred 167 doctoral degrees (46 int’l students), 1,653 master’s degrees (219 int’l students), 25 professional master’s degrees (2 int’l students) and 1,041 bachelor’s students (55 int’l students).

The cherry trees on the grassy slope have started to bloom!! Those by the wood deck are pacing up really hard but not quite catching up yet…

The recent cherry blossom predict 🌸 it will start to bloom around 24 March in Tokyo area.

Ookayama campus is more or less in line with the forecast. The buds of cherry trees in the front of the Main Building are still very tight, but the trees in the grassy slope along the Main Building started to bloom.

26 March is the graduation ceremony day - we may not be able to see full cherry blossom but let’s wish graduating students can enjoy some!

The energetic university students from Malaysia 🇲🇾 came to the Ookayama campus as a part of JICE/JENESYS program (Japan - East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths).

The day before was freezing cold, but the day of the event turned out to be full of sunshine ☀️ and students had fun “jalan-jalan” 🚶‍♀️ 🚶 in the campus!

Pear, one of our Student Ambassadors, made presentation on the campus life at Tokyo Tech, followed by ice-breaking gestures games & group talks with students from Tokyo Tech SAGE (Student Association for Global Exchange).
