Student Ambassador from April 2022 to March 2024
This is Fahim, a 3rd-year GSEP student from Bangladesh. My department, Transdisciplinary Science and Engineering, brings together knowledge from different fields to solve problems. There are opportunities to think beyond the traditional boundaries to approach complex wicked problems in society. I am still exploring this fascinating side of the research conducted here, that puts effort to transform science and engineering into practice. As much as I miss my family while staying here in Japan by myself, the daily interactions with students from different countries and attending outstanding lectures from the professors at Tokyo Tech make everything worthwhile. Student life in Tokyo, one of the best cities in the world only adds to that experience. I cannot wait to join a research laboratory at the end of this year. I hope I can put some of my stories into words on this website.
