Greeting, my name is Joshua Seoungmin Chon. I am a Korean-Canadian student who is studying Ph.D. in the dept. of materials and chemical technology at the Tokyo Tech. Right now, I am doing my research at the Hitosugi-Shimizu laboratory. I was born and raised in South Korea and moved to Alberta, Canada when I was 15. I went to junior high school (grade 9), high school and university (undergraduate) in Canada and finally came to Tokyo. This is my 4th year at the Tokyo Tech and I decided to become an ambassador to share my life in Tokyo Tech. I have gone through different programs in Tokyo Tech such research student program (non-degree program) and the master’s degree program. So, if you come up with any question about program or life in Tokyo Tech, please talk to me :).
