Hey there! I’m Shambhava, a second-year bachelor’s student here at Tokyo Tech. Originally from the bustling New Delhi, India, I came to Japan in pursuit of new adventures and to connect with people from all sorts of distinct backgrounds. And as part of the Global Scientists & Engineers (GSEP) program, I’ve been able to do just that. While adjusting to this unique environment was mostly smooth sailing, my greatest challenge was being able to procure food as a vegetarian. However, I made incredible friends here who helped me learn new ways of cooking and finding more accommodating restaurants, which significantly helped me overcome this struggle. My interests range from programming, graphic design, and visual effects to blogging and reading. (I enjoy both fiction and non-fiction.) You’ll also find me spending a significant chunk of my time binge-watching anime or exploring videos that pique my interest (especially podcasts) on YouTube. Additionally, I love delving into strategic games such as chess and sudoku. More recently, I’ve also gotten into music production — remixes and the like. I aspire to assist new and upcoming students, ensuring their transition to Tokyo Tech is as fun and seamless as mine was. I eagerly look forward to meeting new people and embracing fresh experiences.
