Student Ambassador from April 2023 to March 2025
Hello, my name is Alex and I am from the city of Boston in the USA. I am a doctorate student in the Department of Life Science and Technology and an embassy-elected MEXT scholar. Before coming to Tokyo Tech, I had worked at two major pharmaceutical companies, Pfizer and Takeda, doing R&D in early therapeutic development. I strive to continue developing therapeutics for patients who need them. This is my third time studying in Japan, having enjoyed two incredible study-abroad experiences here years ago. I have made so many memories and friends during my time here and have come to consider it as my new home. I enjoy traveling around Japan to discover amazing food, scenery, people, and onsens. I am currently the team leader for events at the Tokyo Tech International Student Association (TISA), organizing fun activities in Tokyo for students to enjoy. I am honored to continue as a Tokyo Tech Student Ambassador and hope to share my experience with you all and have a lot of fun.
