Student Ambassador from April 2026 to March 2027
Hello there! My name is Harsh, and I am in the second year of my master’s degree at the Department of Information and Communications Engineering here at Science Tokyo.
I was born and brought up in the city of Thane, a residential suburb of Mumbai, India, and I came to Japan at the nascent age of 17 to pursue my undergraduate education under the MEXT Scholarship, which I still receive as a master’s student. My research field is computer architecture, which studies the design of hardware systems and their interactions with system software.
Apart from academics, I have spent the past five years here at Science Tokyo dabbling in a number of extracurriculars, including English debate competitions and leadership roles that have allowed me to make great friends along the way. My interests include programming, working out, learning new foreign languages, and travelling to different places within and outside of Japan. I look forward to being a student ambassador and sharing my wonderful experiences here in Japan!
