Student Ambassador from April 2026 to March 2027
Hello! I’m Devnarayanan Sharma, a MEXT Undergraduate Scholar from Kerala, India. I am a fourth-year undergraduate student, currently pursuing Mechanical Engineering at Science Tokyo, with a strong interest in robotics and simulation.
Outside of academics, I enjoy staying active through badminton, cycling, and hiking. Moving to Japan as a vegetarian was initially a challenge, but it soon turned into an exciting journey — encouraging me to explore cooking and experimenting with new flavors. It’s one of the many experiences here that has helped me grow more adaptable and independent. My time at Science Tokyo has been incredibly transformative, shaping me not only academically but also personally and culturally. I truly value open conversations and enjoy exchanging ideas with people from different backgrounds.
As a Student Ambassador, I would be more than happy to share my experiences and lessons learned, and to support prospective students as they begin their own journeys. I hope to help make their transition to Science Tokyo and Japan smooth, fulfilling, and fun!
